• Lesuride contains Levosulpride
• Levosulpiride is used in the treatment of psychosis, depression, frequent persistent heart burn, gastro-oesophageal reflux disease, irritable bowel syndrome, indigestion (dyspepsia).

• Levosulpride belongs to a class of medications called atypical antipsychotic agent. It acts by inhibiting the receptor (D2 and D3) found in the brain and subsequently decreasing the level of chemical compound () present in the brain.

Dosage

Always follow the instructions of doctor regarding the dosage and duration for your indication.

• Adults: 5-15 mg once daily.
• Children (<15 years): 2.5-5 mg daily.

Common side effects

• Common: Weight gain, drowsiness, increased prolactin levels, increased sugar in blood, hunger, restlessness, unusual tremors in mouth or tongue, dry mouth, lack of energy, lack of coordination or jerky movements, water retention in hands or feet, dysfunction, increased urination, dizziness or fainting issues when standing.
• Uncommon: slow heart rate, low body temperature, hair loss, urinary incontinence, changes in menstrual cycles, sensitivity to sunlight, lactation and changes in breasts (both males and females), worsening of diabetes, seizures, fever and sweating, eye spasms, liver disease, changes in heart rhythm, inflammation in stomach, difficulty in urination and prolonged or painful erection.

Who should not take

• Patients who are allergic to olanzapine or any other ingredient of the tablet.
• Patients who suffer from eye problems such as increased pressure in the eye (glaucoma).

Imipramine is used to treat depression and night time bed wetting in children. Imipramine belongs to a class of medications called tricyclic antidepressants. Imipramine acts by increasing the amounts of certain natural substances in the brain that are needed to maintain mental balance. It also decreases one of the stages of sleep where wetting occurs.
